Dizziness and the feeling of fainting are very common with CHV. They are caused by the shortage of blood supply to the brain, because of the narrowing of blood vessels when the acidity of the blood gets to low. The shortage can be as bad as 40%!

There can also be other causes of dizziness. If you have a feeling of everything is going around, it could be an indication of Meniere (an equilibrium disorder). When in doubt, consult you physician and let him do the tests needed to identify the proper cause. Which tests are available to diagnose CHV can be found on our site. CHV is easy to detect.

The light feeling in the head is most common with people suffering from CHV. The more severe your CHV is, the worse this feeling gets.
