The HyperVen user forums contain thousands of messages from people who have done the HyperVen therapy. Many of these people cured themselves of chronic hyperventilation. Only users of the HyperVen program have the permission to post messages. People who have done HyperVen therapy in the past can also get write permissions. Before reading in the forums, carefully read the articles about chronic hyperventilation on this site. As a result, you will better understand many of the terms and methods used in forums. This gives you a good idea of what hyperventilation is. What causes it and why it is so persistent. Understanding your illness is the first step towards healing!

Etiquette of the HyperVen user forums

The following etiquette applies to posting messages on the HyperVen user forums:

• HyperVen moderates the forums and the content of all posted messages.
• We evaluate every posted message. If necessary we modify or delete the messages.
• HyperVen moves threads without recent replies to the archive forum.
• HyperVen will stop a discussion if necessary. This applies to messages that do not contribute to the overall goal of HyperVen. This goal is to help people to cure their chronic hyperventilation syndrome.
• If you write messages with inappropriate texts or otherwise offensive language, they will be deleted immediately.
• We do not allow links to other websites. HyperVen immediately removes messages with external links.
• Do not give medical advice. Users may exchange experiences, but not help each other with medical advice. An example of this is advice about medication. For medical support you should always consult your doctor or therapist.
• All answers from HyperVen can be identified by the users “Rob”, “Sanne” or “HyperVen”.

Users who do not adhere to the etiquette first receive a warning. Repetition can lead to denial of accessing the HyperVen user forums.
