HyperVen is demanding and requires discipline

HyperVen is demanding and requires discipline. But let me briefly first describe what I have done, so far, with trial and error, to become my old self again:

The HyperFree breathing cassette is a nice alternative to using a plastic bag
The HyperFree breathing cassette is a nice alternative to using a plastic bag
  • I learned breathing exercises. It has a relaxing effect at times when it is needed. But the hyperventilation does not disappears with that. At least not structurally, because it is chronic hyperventilation
  • I tried to relieve hyperventilation attacks with a HyperFree breathing cassette. That is a nice alternative to using a plastic bag. The HyperFree is for sale at the pharmacy. That worked well. It made me feel like I could control the attacks. And that gave me back a little bit of certainty.
  • If the attacks came with feelings of anxiety and panic, I used oxazepam as prescribed by my doctor. That worked well too. At least it prevented the negative spiral of hyperventilation caused by fear and panic. That fear and panic are debilitating. They prevented a structural recovery.

HyperVen is demanding and requires discipline

In an attempt to cure my chronic hyperventilation, I started HyperVen. Almost three months ago. HyperVen is demanding and requires discipline. But the last month I had no more hyperventilation attacks. The fear and panic also vanished. And the physical phenomena of hyperventilation, including a horrible feeling of living under a glass dome, also become less. I feel like I’m starting to get back to normal again. Of course everyone has their own methods, but maybe you can do something with my story.

Regards, Arnold.
